While many people viewed the loan modification as a short-term service related to the current housing crisis, Citizens has always taken a long-term approach. As long as homeowners are subjected to predatory lending practices or suffer unexpected and catastrophic hardships, there will always be the need for proper representation.

Being a company with a long-tern vision means something else too. Citizens invests in every community in which it operates by supporting nonprofit organizations and community services, with an emphasis on those that directly help displaced homeowners.

In addition to those listed above, our philanthropic efforts have included support for people with medical conditions, local law enforcement, and the development of a national mortgage modification association to improve practices.
